The School is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and well-qualified Transport Manager and CCF SSI to join our dynamic and friendly team.

As Transport Manager, supervise all day to day aspects of the transport service for 12 routes (including 7 routes managed by external coach company) for the benefit of its users and within the agreed budget for this service.  Ensure that the School’s fleet of minibuses are kept in excellent working order. Oversee an effective booking system for ad hoc minibus and coach use for school activities.

As CCF SSI, carry out the role of School Staff Instructor.  Take responsibility for all unit stores, the preparation of equipment for periodic inspection, unit administration, liaison with sponsor units and training teams, support the planning and management of Field Days and camps, and to be committed to weekly Wednesday evening parades.

A further key part of the role is to work as part of the caretaking team providing a year-round on-site presence on a rotational basis, responding in the event of out-of-hours emergencies including fire, and assisting with caretaking duties within the school holidays when not required for transport or CCF duties.
