Outline of Business/Company 
Amore Group are a leading provider of support services for people with diverse and often complex needs in the community, supported living, secure units, prison services and residential settings with both children and adults.

We supply support to individuals for example with Autism, Asperger’s, ADHD, challenging and sexualised behaviours, mental health, learning/physical disabilities. Some of our Service Users/Clients can express extremely challenging behaviours, some may require personal care. Another option would be working away in various areas supporting young people on activity packages which would include camping out, climbing, kayaking etc. 

General Description 
We are currently putting together a team of Support Workers to support a young person with Autism. He will require support on a 2-1 basis 24 hours a day. Your role will be supporting him to do personal tasks, household jobs, learning and enjoying his favourite hobbies. This is also a transition period which will involve more exciting tasks such as moving into his own home for the first time, planning a holiday and gaining independence. We promote positive behaviour support with all our Service Users.

Our Service Users are at the heart of everything we do at Amore. Your job as a Support Worker is to ensure our Service Users lead valued and fulfilling lives, helping them to reach their potential and achieve to the best of their ability. Being a Support Worker with us means you may be helping our Service Users on a 24 hours basis.

Your role will be varied, and no two days will be the same. Whether you’re new to supporting people or have years of experience, you will get the training and support you need to excel in your job role.

Experience and Technical Skills / Professional Qualifications:
Previous experience is an advantage but is not essential as training is provided. Amore offer a full training package, career development, local work, induction training, regular refresher training.
