A RACE AGAINST TIME

Our lives have been transformed this year. The pandemic has made us stop and think about what is truly important. It has shown us how resilient we are, how rapidly we can change, and how dependent we are on nature to survive. The pain of the pandemic will pass but we have a much greater emergency looming.

The climate crisis is a real threat to our world and time is running out to take action. Not everyone can see how we directly impact the planet; and what we don’t see, we tend to ignore. 

Earth is our only home and we must protect it. Our youth are demanding urgent action so that we create a world that is fit for life. We must be humble, listen, and take action before it is too late. 

OUR MISSION IS TO SHARE INSPIRATIONAL STORIES THAT CHALLENGE THE WORLD TO TAKE URGENT CLIMATE ACTION

Mark Wood will venture unaided across the Arctic wilderness for 100 days, in an extraordinary Guinness World Record attempt, to make the climate crisis a reality for all.

We will empower youth to amplify their voice and share their commitment to the world. Over the course of his 100 day expedition, we will share stories of 100 Scouts from around the world to show how their communities are affected by climate change and inspire others to create a world fit for life. 

We will challenge the world to take urgent climate action through a legacy of inspiring stories. We will ensure the SOLO100 continues to inspire people for years to come through a platform for change and a major documentary film.

The documentary will be created by our long-term film production partners Dustoff Films, Oscar and Academy award winning documentary company Diamond Docs, and Hardy, Son and Baker.
