Job Title: Domicillary Care Assistant

Ascot care are looking to recruit the very best carers, we have a fantastic opportunity to join our team as a Home Care Assistant, We are looking for a professional, caring and reliable team members to work with our client in his own home in the Beadale. This opportunity offers you the chance to do something amazing, making a real difference in people's lives. We have part time and full time opportunities. 12 hrs shifts days or nights all in one location with one client.

** A driving Licence and access to your own vehicle is essential for this role **

· Our care assistants must hold a valid driving licence and have access to a vehicle

Job role

To be a member of our dedicated care team looking after the care, safety and well-being of our clients within their own home environment.

You will be travelling to the clients own home in Bedale, so the use of your own vehicle is essential, as well as the ability to work independently.

You will be required to provide assistance with everyday tasks such as:

· Caring in the community

· Promoting the Client's independence while helping them with their daily duties and routines

· Safe administration of medication

· Co-operation with office staff

· You will be required to do some weekend working in this role

· Liaising with relatives, colleagues and external agencies

· It is also important that accurate and detailed records are made regarding each client, so a level of literacy is required.

Due to the sensitive nature of our business, all successful applicants will be subject to DBS checks, a full interview process and references being required.
