Job Description:
Rewarding job opportunities have arisen for experienced and ambitious PSV Auto Electricians to join our business. As a PSV Auto Electrician, your role would involve carrying out planned and preventative maintenance along with diagnostic fault finding and reactive repairs to a fleet of commercially operated buses, to the strict standards set by both Arriva, and the DVSA (Driver & Vehicle Standards Agency).

Our Engineering Team is a core function of our business, and each engineer's contribution goes a long way in ensuring all our vehicles operate in safe and roadworthy condition.

The role will involve:
· Servicing, maintenance and repairs to Arriva and DVSA standards

· Auto (PSV) electrics and electric fault diagnosis and ensuring reliability and maintenance is kept to Arriva Standards

· Hours may require Shift working

Requirements:
· Knowledge of PSV/HGV maintenance with recognised qualifications (e.g. Level 3 NVQ or Level 2/Level 3 IRTEC)

· Electrical Circuits and Systems knowledge encompassing Multiplex and CANbus, starting, charging and ignition circuits, lead-acid and gel batteries, auto-electrical test equipment, OBD and diagnostics

· Knowledge of engineering procedures and Health & Safety legislation

· Inspection of vehicles for the scheduled maintenance (desirable but training can be provided)

· A PCV license – Desirable
