Job Description:
Rewarding job opportunities have arisen for PSV Engineers within Arriva. As a Skilled Engineer, your role would involve carrying out planned and preventative maintenance along with diagnostic fault finding and reactive repairs to a fleet of commercially operated London buses, to the strict standards set by both Arriva, and the DVSA (Driver & Vehicle Standards Agency).

The role will involve:

· Servicing, maintenance and repairs to Arriva and DVSA standards

· Continuous improvement of vehicle reliability

· MOT preparation, planned preventative maintenance campaigns and quality checks

· Vehicle fault diagnosis and ensuring reliability and maintenance is kept to Arriva Standards (Higher than DVSA)

· hours may require Shift working

· Basic Hourly Rates starting from £16.27/hour and ranging up to £23.59/hour depending on grade and shift allocation

· Additional allowances/enhancements available over and above basic hourly rates

Requirements:
· Knowledge of PSV/HGV maintenance with recognised qualifications (e.g. Level 3 NVQ or Level 2/Level 3 IRTEC)

· Knowledge of engineering procedures and Health & Safety legislation

· Inspection of vehicles for the scheduled maintenance (desirable but training can be provided)

· Electrical circuits and systems knowledge - Desirable

· A PCV license – Desirable
