General Description

We have an exciting opportunity for an intermediate level Quantity Surveyor to join our growing team at Roadways, working part-time (2-3 days per week).

The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring resources, making applications for payments and reconciling actual spend.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Valuing completed work and arranging payments

  • Managing contractual claims

  • Undertaking post contract cost analysis

Experience:

  • Experience with contract administration

  • Experience with application for payments

Key Skills:

  • A good understanding of construction technology and terminology

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Commercial awareness

  • Be able to form a good relationships and work well in teams

  • A professional, friendly and approachable attitude

  • Results-driven and motivated

  • Meticulous attention to detail

  • Clear of alcohol and drugs when reporting for work (a regular testing programme is in place)

Experience and Technical Skills / Professional Qualifications: Intermediate level QS or Financial Accounting qualification
