Veterans' Foundation

The Veterans' Foundation has been set up to help fund charities and other charitable organisations that are helping serving and former members of the Armed Forces, and their dependants, who are in need.”

The Veterans' Foundation raises its money through the Veterans’ Lottery and donations.  Since inception in July 2017, it has given £3.6million out in grants to about 250organisations, many of them small to medium-sized and very worthwhile charities, which are helping members of the Armed Forces community who are in need.  Forecasts indicate the Veterans’ Foundation will make grants totalling £3 million this financial year. The charities and other organisations we have helped include those tackling the challenges of mental and physical injuries, homelessness, unemployment, children’s loss of parents while serving and remembrance. We encourage you to spread the word.

We are grateful for the public’s support of the Veterans’ Foundation and its Veterans’ Lottery, and we encourage you to spread the word.

Shotgun LEMC

Shotgun LEMC (law enforcement motorcycle club) was founded in 2015, in Italy, by our founder and international president "big joe". in 2020, big joe and members of shotgun LEMC had an audience with pope Frances (Jorge Mario Bergoglio), where they received a pleasing from the pope. 

Shotgun LEMC is a non-profit organisation composed of men who are either active or retired police officers, first responders, military and a select few civilians. 

We share a passion for custom motorcycles & the brotherhood this brings. 

We participate in authorised charity events and raise funds where we can without seeing recognition, we "do good and forget" 

Our 3 simple fundamental principles are dedication to family, work & club. participation in our club is earned through trust, loyalty & time. 

Our patches are not given away & we make no profit from our members we are not territorial and wear or country as bottom rocker as a sign of patriotism. 

Established in the uk in 2019 we continue to grow with quality people & not quantity.

Bird

Bird is a last-mile electric vehicle sharing company dedicated to bringing affordable, environmentally friendly transportation solutions to communities across the world.

Farmfoods are a national retailer with over 330 branches nationwide. They have been specialising in quality frozen foods for over 60 years and pride themselves on providing great food at amazing prices. In partnership with Hire a Hero, Farmfoods offer on-the-job training opportunities to those who have served through their Management Development Programme (MDP). Farmfoods MDP gives candidates a thorough grounding in the business and has them taking on important responsibilities for the business at early stages. This year-long programme will see requirement meeting candidates promoted to Branch Manager on completion with the option to apply for other roles within the business.

Composite Floor Deck Group 

The Composite Floor Deck Group is made up of three associate companies based throughout the UK. Headed by Hire a Hero supporter Matt Smith, Northern Steel Decking, based in both Scotland and Sheffield, Stud welders and Composite Metal Flooring, both based in South Wales, work in close conjunction to distribute, design and install steel floor decking systems throughout the UK. Composite Metal Floors are avid supporters of Hire a Hero and currently support us with funding for our office space in Mamhilad Park Estate. CMF's Matt Smith has also previously joined supporters from Molson in a fundraising effort for Hire a Hero in the Merzouga Rally through the Moroccan desert.

Established in 1980 by Managing Director and Hire a Hero supporter Chris McCormick, C&P Fine Foods is an independent supplier of high-quality produce specialising in delivering the very best cuts of meat to the hotel and catering industry. C&P understand the requirements of chefs running busy kitchens and, as such, C&P Fine Foods will source produce in the UK and deliver it on time and ready for cooking. C&P supports Hire a Hero through the supply of meat and produce for a number of fundraising events.
